Dan Cooper is an internationally acclaimed artist
whose work has been exhibited in galleries and museums throughout the
United States and abroad for twenty five years. His paintings grace
private and corporate collections including AT&T, Wells Fargo and
Merrill-Lynch. His blend of strong composition and luminous color
reveals influences from Claude Monet to Andrew Wyeth. Cooper was
educated at Harvard University, the Art Student's League and Boston
Museum School.

The rich colors of the earth, vegetation and sky are the perfect backdrop for a special kind of harmony between nature in its abundance and human creativity - harvesting the fruit and transforming it with each new vintage into the intoxicating nectar that plays such an essential part of our celebrations and good fellowship.

The geometry of the vineyards provides a structure for my compositions that allows me to paint freely with exuberant color, guided by emotional response to the subject and the painting itself.
